I live in Natchitoches. In fact I was born and raised there. My younger half-sister lives in New Jersey and had come to town to visit for a week. As I am, she is also very interested in the paranormal. After seeing the Ghost Adventures episode on the Magnolia, she was really wanting to take a tour of the place. So I took her. It was an amazing experience. But the most interesting part of it all was that as we were leaving the grounds of the Magnolia and going down the driveway my two week old Ford Expedition started having engine trouble and making some very odd screeching noises. As we furthered away from the plantation the troubles stopped. I thought the experience was quite haunting. If you are ever in the area again and would like to return to the Magnolia to take more pics, let me know. I would love to go on a return trip with someone who has a true feeling for these places.
