WINTERLAND

Melody Club ‘winterland’

Woke up to 6″ or so of snow this morning. We’re not accustomed to snow here in TX, so it’s too unsafe to drive anywhere. I walked accross the street buy some candles and Mexican pasteries, and have otherwise spent the day sewing and watching movies at home. Kind’ve a pain. It sure is a pretty sight though, eh?

Here are my ‘winter gloves’ – 40s fishnet crochet w/ the tops snipped off. Paired with my favorite ring from Buffalo Exchange. He has green rhinestone eyes but one eye fell out, so I named him One Eyed Jack. I suppose I could buy him a new eye, but I kinda like him this way. He has character.

  2. Thanks lady! I’m following your blog now, btw. Wish I’d known about it sooner.

  3. Wow! Awesome pictures. So pretty. I’ve never seen such a sight in real life…jealous. But warm 😉

  4. I’d love to see snow in Huntington Beach, haha! I got very light snow when I lived in the middle of nowhere (Palmdale), and they got some snow this year. Jealous.
Oh and at work today I saw a ring that reminded me of your owl, only it was a PIG that straddles your finger! It was in the old lady jewelz.
